Bolton 3-0 Reading

It was a painful day for the Royals as they came away with nothing from the Reebok after Bolton secured their first win of the season in comprehensive style.

The 3-0 scoreline was tough to take but Bolton, despite having less of the possession, earned it after bombarding the Royals rear guard.

Did you go to the match? What did you think of the game? Was it really as bad as the press reports make out?

I was there, freezing my ass off! We were looking pretty good right up until the first goal went in and after that it all fell apart quite spectacularly. I think all but two of the team had been away for internationals and it showed. Add to that injuries and suspensions and it's obvious that to have any chance of avoiding the 'second season syndrome' we have to get some depth to the squad. Still, can't spend time looking back, let's look forward to beating the crap out of the Hammers on Saturday - again!

If we play that poorly every match we will surely be relelgated.

The thing is; we won't play that badly often. Most weeks we will play like we did against Manchester United, Chelsea and Everton and we will be fine. Yesterday was a bad day owing to injuries and fatigue.

I don't think we'll go down, there's got to be at least three teams worse than us this season!
I hear that some people were considering changing teams after this game - how rude..
