Reading 2-1 Sunderland
A controversial Stephen Hunt winner, at least in some quarters, gave Reading all three points against Sunderland this afternoon.
Michael Chopra looked to have rescued a point for the Black Cats after Ivar Ingimarsson's second half opener. But Hunt intervened in the 92nd minute to claim the win following a cross from Shane Long. Hunts shot appeared to cross the line as 'keeper Craig Gordan attempted the save. The linesman on the far side flagged for a goal, which sent the Mad Stad faithful into raptures and cue another blast of the Monkees' I'm a Believer at full time!
