Wolves 2-3 Reading

Reading warmed up for the start of their second Premier League season with victory at Championship side Wolves.

A strong squad made the trip to the Black Country although it was the home side who opened the scoring. Seyi Olofinjana headed in after 14 minutes, but the Royals were level three minutes later when Stephen Hunt capitalised on a defence mix-up. Brynjar Gunnarsson fired Reading into the lead after half an hour before Dave Kitson deflected Hunts shot to make it 3-1 at the break. Jay Bothroyd pulled a late goal back for Wolves.

BTB's roving reporter Stuart Croucher was at Molineux today and a full report will be published later.
